• Introduction of Ping An of China Asset Management (HK)

Ping An of China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. (“PAAMC HK”) was established in May 2006. It is a leading Chinese asset management company based in Hong Kong, and is major entity responsible for the Ping An Group’s (2318.HK) overseas investment management business.

PAAMC HK is licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in Hong Kong to manage assets and give investment advice on securities, holding Type 9 and Type 4 licenses.

PAAMC HK accepts investment mandates from a diverse group of private and institutional clients including other subsidiaries of the Ping An Group. It also manages exchange trading funds (ETFs) listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and unit trusts for the retail market. In addition, it provides QDII and QFII/RQFII advisory services to institutions.

As of December 2013, assets under management reached around HKD29.476 billion.
